Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd was 14 when she started to take part in combat sports. Following her training in kickboxing, boxing wrestling BJJ and BJJ, she had her first professional fight against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she turned 18. Ladd took advantage of this win and went on a 3-fight win streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents within the first round in all the fights. Aspen went back to WCFC in order to defeat Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia beat Aspen as she beat her by unanimous vote. Cynthia's amateur records were marred. Ladd recovered from the defeat, and won Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to increase her record up to 8-1. Aspen was signed to Invicta FC in 2015 to start her journey in professional boxing. Invicta fight Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta '11 and she won by first-round TKO. The next time she fought, she won against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission and went up to bantamweight to fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen utilized her expertise in wrestling to knock down McGill via TKO in the third-round (elbows & punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) at a "catchweight"(138.1lb) as Ladd was unable to put on the weight. Aspen, however, defeated Hoy with a TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her last fight for promotion. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks won by unanimous vote. The debut of Aspen Ladd's UFC debut took place in UFC Fight Night 118 when she fought Lina Lansberg. She was a step ahead of Lina by using the ground and pound strategy, resulting in an TKO second round victory. Then, in her third fight she beat Tonya Evinger with a more stunning victory. Ladd won the fight in round one and was awarded the Performance of the Night Bonus. Ladd fought in her debut big fight in The UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Vs. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Both the fighters put on an exchange of blows that culminated with Ladd winning via unanimous decision and each fighter received an award known as the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd in just 16 seconds, putting an end to her winning streak. In the third round of UFC in ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. She faced Norma Dumont as a substitute in her last fight with the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. The fight ended in an majority decision.
