Sharon Yvonne Stone, born March 10, 1958 in Meadville (Pennsylvania), is born to Dorothy Lawson, a former factory worker, and Joseph William Stone, a tool and die maker. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her three siblings. Stone, who was gifted in school as an infant, started in second grade at five. Saegertown School in Saegertown Pennsylvania was her high school. She graduated in 1975. Stone also participated in the Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant, and was crowned Miss Crawford County. Stone, along with her Aunt in 1977, relocated in New Jersey for a modeling job. She signed with Ford Modeling Agency a week after. In Europe, she lived for a year living in Milano as well as Paris. Stone was however dissatisfied in Europe in the modeling business and decided to move into acting. She was 20 when she appeared in the film of Woody Allen "Stardust Memories," with mixed receptions.
