Kat Dennings (n e Katherine Victoria Litwack) was born on the 13th day of June from Bryn Mawr Pennsylvania. Ellen Dennings who is Kat's mother, is a writer and speech therapist. The father of Kat is Gerald. Gerald is a professor at a university as well as a molecular biologist. Dennings is youngest of five kids and was raised as a child in an orthodox Jewish family. Dennings attended a school that did not follow the traditional curriculum and did not attend a homeschool. Because she was trying to pursue acting from a young age, the homeschool arrangement made the most sense since she had the ability to complete high school by the age of 14. At the age of nine, she was already acting commercials. Following high school graduation, she and her family relocated from the city of Los Angeles to pursue acting.
